Built for Battle TCG?
Built for Battle is a fast-paced, community-driven trading card game that brings real cosplay talent into the arena. Players battle using cards based on actual people — with real personalities, real photos, and real power.
You’ll collect, trade, and fight using cards that feature cosplayers, creators, and original characters from across the fandom multiverse.

What started as a concept for the Built for Battle League, a live-action cosplay combat sport built around staged competition and that is currently still in development, the idea has evolved into a full trading card game that brings the same energy and participation to a format anyone can play.
The Built for Battle team is made up of creators, artists, and longtime members of the cosplay and convention community, combining our skills to build something original, inclusive, and rooted in creativity and fandom.
Art Director
Kyle Kirkner
The creator and lead developer of the Built for Battle TCG. With over 20 years of experience in graphic design, Kyle has handled the game’s design, development, mechanics, and production. He is also the founder of Creative Cosplays Magazine, the top cosplay publication launched in 2019 that continues to spotlight the talent within the cosplay community, and the Head of Design for Cosplay World, shaping the event’s brand, website, and promotional content. @CreativeCosplaysMag
Tech Lead
Jason Keith
An Eisner Award–nominated color artist who has worked with Marvel Comics for more than 15 years on major titles including Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Avengers, Star Wars, and more. Along with traveling as a featured guest artist at cons around the world, Jason has created Cosplay World, a cosplay focused convention in Richmond, VA. As the founder of Cosplay World, Jason brought his experience as a comic guest and longtime convention supporter into building a platform that celebrates cosplayers on their own terms. @Cosplayworldcon
